*sigh* life...

life really gets away from you, doesn't it? oh well. just for the record, i'm working two jobs: both as a lifeguard. i work in 2 different YMCAs. which makes life interesting sometimes. it certainly makes for split loyalties!

oh well. in addition to working at the YMCAs, i am also a student at the local community college. yes, i know that i am only 16. that is gonna change though, in less than a month! but i do understand the point. i'm the youngest one in my class. i may be a junior this year, but...*sighs* i take chemistry there.

i'm also a homeschooled student! i take the rest of my classes at home. i play guitar, trumpet, french horn, baritone, dulcimer, a eensy-weensy bit of piano, recorder, and a little flute. (only if my sister is standing over me, telling me exactly where to put my fingers.) oh well.

anyway, i also enjoy hanging out with my friends. that's kinda average. what ISN'T average about it is my friends. my close friends are all younger than i am! three of them (Norofinwe, Huor, and Merenwen) are all at least a year younger! then, at work and college, i'm the youngest...it takes some getting used to.

Work is progressing

I'm in the middle of trying to edit The Battle of Zephanaia. This is the first book I am writing of the series, and it has led me on an epic journey across lands I had never dreamed. Then again, how many teens create their own world, with *counts* at least *counts again* seven different populating species (at least, that's all I've got right now: humans, elves, Shadows, Ewnifs, Lithmiru, tornadoes, and werecats)? And has a complex mode of society for each race? I'm not even close to being done! I've got nearly 1000 years of history mapped out, with more info still going in and adding to the timeline. I swear, this is exhausting! The only reason I continue is because it is refreshing to be able to create my own little world where everything goes the way I want it to!

OK, enough of my rant. When I finish editing the book, I will reveal a release date. It will be released on such websites as amazon.com, and also other major online bookstores. For now, anyway.
