hey, these are some websites that i've found to be great resources for whatever. some of them are inspirational, some are funny, some are ridiculous, some are music...whatever floats your boat, you're welcome to look it up!
Inspirational
Courtship Now - a website about changing the way we look at a relationship beyond brother-sister or friend-to-friend with members of the opposite sex.
The Basket - an inspirational story for all of us trying to be good Christians in today's world.
Music
Fireflight - a rock group with a female vocalist. most recent release: for those who wait. i really want to get that cd...
Group 1 Crew - a hip-hop group with phenomenal music. i don't listen to a whole lot of hip-hop, but i love this group and their message. most recent release: ordinary dreamers.
Pandora Radio - an online radio station where YOU choose the music. it's nice...i've trained my stations not to play dirty lyrics :)
Skillet - another rock group. this is the first rock group i ever listened to...their most recent release is awake. phenomenal cd. each cd is successively better than the last.
Spoken - yet another rock group. i really enjoy their music. most recent release: last chance to breathe.
HigherPraise - a website with lyrics and guitar chords for most praise and worship music, as well as a LOT of popular Christian music. has both tab and just letter chords, though both options are not always available on all songs.
JesusFreakHideout - OH yah. \m/>.<\m/ this has reviews on a lot of different artists' CDs, as well as info about most of the Christian music world and awesome contests!
Musician's Friend - this has ANYTHING and everything a musician of any kind could ever want. they have every kind of instrument, as well as recording, DJ, and listening gear. it's a musician's HEAVEN!!!
Blogs (yes, i know this is on the side of everything, but just read through it anyway)
Indubitably. - my boyfriend's blog. he has interesting views on life at times, as well as some great insights on different aspects of life.
Renwen's Rants - my best friend's blog. she's nuts! she's also funny ;)
Merenwen's Poems - my best friend's blog of poems. this is where she posts her normally fantastic poetry. i must say i'm a fan ;)
Observing my surroundings - the blog of a student at John Paul the Great Catholic University (JPCatholic) in san diego, CA. he's got some great stuff on here.
Let's Be Friends - great pictures of odd animal pairings. mebbe i should submit one of my boyfriend and i... ;) (just kidding darling)
Hell Burns - a blog by Sr. Helena Burns, a self-dubbed "media nun". it's about the media and the Catholic viewpoint. really interesting.
Shopping for Us Wacky Modest/Christian Types
Purity Rings - this site has some really good quality purity rings with a lot of different styles, and multiple options per style as well. i can definitely say they are good quality - i've had no complaints with mine.
Beautifully Modest - the link takes you to the prom dresses, but really, all the dresses there are beautiful AND modest...i just wish i could actually afford them...
Catholic to the Max - AWESOME tshirts and apparel and other assorted items. not all of them are exclusively Catholic, though a lot of them are.
Games to Play when You're Bored
Traveler IQ Challenge - what's your travel iq? how well do YOU know where cities, landmarks, and other such things are? test it here!
Copter - this one is fun and addicting. you're trying not to run your helicopter into anything. i wish you better luck than mine. (not that that's saying much...)
Fighter Pilot Test - this one is HARD. and also addicting. if i remember right, the air force (or someone somewhere) uses this as a test for wannabe fighter pilots. they had to go for so long without dying...it was either 90 seconds or five minutes...i don't remember which ;)
Tic-Tac-Toe for Smart People - this one is fairly self-explanatory. you get it right, you get your x or o. wrong, you get the other.
Dragon Rider - for fans of christopher paolini, this is a fun game where you "learn" different skills to become a better Rider.
Alagaesia Adventure Game - this is another alagaesia game, one that's based on the end of eragon and beginning of eldest. it's much different than the previous game, though, so be warned. this one, you have to use your imagination to see where you are.

FUS - short for Franciscan University at Steubenville, located in ohio, this is where i'll be going to school. i will say that the website comes nowhere near close to doing justice to the school.
The Mom Song - it's awesomely hilarious. watch it. and roll on the floor laughing as you realize that your mother says this all about 500 times a day.
