fairly boring. *shrugs* i don't usually do much on saturdays other than work and chores. the past few weeks have been exceptions (because of Christmas etc). i did realize something, though, at work today...
i'm small. well, i've always known that, but it really hit home earlier...i'm only 5'3" tall and 120 pounds. it's something i've accepted, because almost all of my friends are taller and heavier than me. but it never really affected me, because we usually don't start wrestling or anything like that. but today, one of the patrons tried to throw me into the pool. i couldn't get away; he only stopped because i put on my "lifeguard voice" and told him to let me go. that scared me, though, because if i couldn't get away from him when all he wanted to do was throw me in, i won't be able to get away from a guy who wants to...do something else much worse. :P it's a scary thought...methinks i need to get stronger or SOMETHING so that i can protect myself.

Hmm...I'm heavier and much taller than you, but I've had the same fears. I've always wanted to take taewondo to have the power of self-defense...just in case. Plus I think it would be fun to be able to beat folks up if need be...lol

I've been taking it for about 4 yrs now. And I myself don't understand why she won't let me help her. She says she's a nonviolent person and yet she wants to protect herself. You have to be violent on some level in order to protect yourself. :P
True...and I'm not a violent person either. I had to study WWII last year, but just couldn't...lol Sad. And you're right, Enna just contradicted herself. ;)
O_O i just got home from work about an hour ago...you two went crazy! and my issue is with RENWEN teaching me self defense. ;)

when my mother says i can...and it's not that she knows more than i do...i have no problem with that. my issue is having to try to harm a friend.

Yeah, Renwen, make her join. And really, if you have a black belt, you've had to go through a lot. I think it's funny that enna thinks she'll hurt you...lol
i KNOW that i won't hurt her - she'll end up hurting herself if she tries slapping me. last time she tried slapping phinwe, she hurt her hand...;) it's more of like edward teaching bella to fight in _breaking dawn_ - i don't want to analyze friends as targets. and i TOLD you - when mom says i can join, i will! i'm just waiting on her to send me an invite (her sign that i can join).
I will explain myself on Friday BEFORE Finwe gets there on this issue. *mutters dark things*

OK, fine, I'll explain now. The only reason why I ended up getting hurt was because I hit him on the shoulder blade. That was it. If it had been anywhere else, it wouldn't have hurt. Also, has the thought that I milk things for all their worth ever crossed your mind? ;-)
